We filmed this video during the Baltimore Trawlerfest in September 2026.

If there is one boat builder responsible for jump starting the modern recreational trawler boom, it is Grand Banks. Thousands of Grand Banks have been built, originally in wood, later in fiberglass. The popular sizes include the 36, 42, 46 and the queen of the fleet at the time, the 52. Shanti is a 1999 model year, Grand Banks 52 Europa. She is semi-displacement with a top speed of 18 knots. A double side deck configuration with flybridge.
