Good On You
Good on You
"Good on you" is a common expression Down Under, a simple way of saying, "Well done!" It's an encouraging acknowledgment of someone's accomplishments.
We don't usually go looking for praise, but it's always nice to receive a little positive reinforcement.
As we move through life, it's easy to spend our time and energy focused on everyone else; our families, careers, responsibilities, and obligations. Eventually, though, there comes a time when it's worth asking ourselves a different question:
What do I want to do?
There's nothing selfish about investing a little of your hard-earned time and money in something that brings you joy. In fact, you've earned it.
Since we're talking about spending both time and money, ask yourself another question: Can you think of a better way to enjoy this stage of your life than cruising the water aboard your own trawler? As the owner and operator, you set your course, and with a well founded trawler you can open the door to life enhancing experiences that simply can't be duplicated any other way.
If you've reached that point in your life's journey, take a moment to appreciate how far you've come. Celebrate what you've accomplished, enjoy the adventure ahead, and don't hesitate to offer someone else a heartfelt...
